Electrical Assembler II

Job Description

Position Summary

The Electrical Assembler II works under the general supervision of the Electrical Assembly Lead and performs routine electrical assembly operations of a repetitive nature on electronic components and subassemblies using drawings, schematics and a varierty of hand tools.

Essential Job Duties

  • Read and understand electrical schematics for assembling machine components
  • Wire sub panels, mount panels to machinery, wire components to panel and test
  • Perform troubleshooting as needed on project
  • Scan jobs into Made2Manage (M2M) and traveler systems
  • Follow all safety procedures in handling equipment and machines
  • Set parameters of components such as temperature controllers and inverters

 

Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Three years Electrical Assembler II experience or a combination of technical electrical assembly experience and education to equal three years
  • Mechanical ability and knowledge preferred
  • Ability to use hand and power tools
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
  • Knowledge of safety procedures

CNC Machinist

Job Description

Position Summary

Under the general supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor, the CNC Operator sets up and operates computer numerical controlled (CNC) machinery that automatically mills, punches, drills, broaches or reams metal and or plastic parts. Make adjustments to adhere to established specifications. Monitors work to ensure that machine is not malfunctioning. Make general decisions as to quality, tolerances and operation sequence.

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables or study sample parts to determine machining operation to be performed, and plan best sequence of operations

  • Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces

  • Set up, operate and maintain a variety of machine tools including computer numerically controlled (CNC) tools to perform precision

  • Fit and assemble machined metal parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools

  • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments

  • May set up and program machine tools for use by machining tool operators

  • Scans all job orders through the Made2Manage (M2M) system

  • Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments such as dial indicators, micrometers, calipers and other measuring devices

  • Report deviations from specifications and tolerances to supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree, completion of technical trade school or equivalent education and training preferred
  • Five years machine shop experience that includes knowledge of “G” code or a combination of four years of work experience in the trade is desirable
  • Trade certification for CNC machinist is a plus
  • Ability to use measuring devices to verify that work meets blueprint specifications
  • Basic shop math skills and ability to communicate clearly
  • Possess effective organization and time management skills, be detail oriented, use good judgment, and manage competing priorities for multiple projects and consistently meet all deadlines 
  • Able to lift 20-50 pounds.

Regulatory Compliance Technician

Location: Pomona, Ca

Job Description

Position Summary

The regulatory Compliance Technician reports to the Director of Technical Services and completes all testing, inspections, and documentation of equipment for compliance with applicable ANSI standards,UL, ETL, NSF, CE and other standards required by international nations.

Essential Job Duties

  • Inspect all equipment ensuring each machine meets the regulatory agency guidelines
  • Document the testing of components and procedures by serial number of equipment
  • Update necessary lists to insure parts and components meet all requirements
  • Maintain test equipment in good working order and keep calibrations and certifications current
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting to identify and solve electrical malfunctions, and insure wiring is correct to the schematics and program inverters and program temperature controllers
  • Operate test equipment related to combustion emissions and electrical integrity
  • Order parts for Field Technicians and submit to purchasing
  • Enter parts into M2M Sales Order and Service Request

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

Other Duties

  • Provide Field Technician support by identifying needed parts, researching part number, retrieving drawings, checking parts stock, and entering the needed parts on the Field Sales Order for the Field Service Order
  • Provide Field Technician support by assisting in electrial trouble shooting when necessary
  • Expedite parts shipment to field service technicians trhrough the shipping department
  • Prepare RMA's for returnable parts for warranty replacements from field service technicians
  • Toubleshoot customer equipment by phone or other means necessary
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High Scool diploma or equivalent required or completion of an industrial technical school or related training program
  • Two years related experience preferably in manufacturing 
  • Knowledge of natural gas combustion systems, hydraulics, and neumatics
  • PLC programming experience a plus
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Must be able to communicate clearly both orally and in writing
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
  • Ability to communicate with customers in a positive and professinal manner maintaining integrity
  • Ability to adhere to ethical principles that reflect the highest standards of organizational and individual  behavior and comply with all laws and regulations
  • Possess effective oganisation and time managment skills,be detailed oriented, use good judgment, and manage competing priorities for multiple proects and consistently meet deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and foster cooperative relationships and credibility at all levels of the organization and with customers
  • Domestic travel up to 10% required
  • Valid California license required and an acceptable driver record
